Czech Mountains

portfolio

Visit Krkonoše, Šumava, Jeseníky and Beskydy with us! Like in so many central European countries mountains dominate the landscape of the Czech Republic and also play an important part in the lives of the people. Despite their rather small height the mountains in the country provide the population with excellent opportunities for skiing in winter - especially downhill runs and cross-country skiing trails - while in summer months hiking trails are to be found everywhere which are excellently marked and laid out.Hence it is no surprise that most Czech people own a pair of skis and are quite capable of skiing while many others are at home hiking through the highlands and wooded nature trails high above sea level.

Then the wine samples are assessed by a committee of winetasters, who awards the best 100 wines the right to put the words “Salon vín České republiky” (“Wine Salon of the Czech Republic”) on their label.
